Vascular Anomalies (VASCA-WG)
Clinical Trials/Observational Studies
Clinical trials and observational studies are important for advancing medical knowledge and improving patient care. Clinical trials are essential for evaluating the safety and effectiveness of new treatments, while observational studies provide valuable insights into the natural history of diseases and risk factors.
The VASCA-WG currently has one clinical trial underway: The VASE (Vascular Anomaly-Sirolimus Europe) is phase III multicentric study evaluating the efficacy and safety of sirolimus in Vascular Anomalies that are refractory to standard care. It started in January 25, 2016 to end April 1, 2030.
